Analýza fenologického vývoje vybraných druhů pro oblast Chráněné krajinné oblasti Pálava a lokality jižní Moravy
Dížková, Petra
Diploma thesis named „Analysis of phenological data for given species in protected landscape area Pálava within south Moravia region“ is focused partly on processing phenological historical database which includes pheno data about various birds populations. Thesis is also focused on field observations at various exeprimental sites, especially area Pálava. Historical records came from two localities in south Moravia since 1970 till 2003 according to given species and locality. Elaboration of phenological series and trends is done for three bird species - the Great Tit (Parus major), the Blue Tit (Parus caeruleus) and the Eurasian nuthatch (Sitta europaea). For final elaboration of phenological series the computer tool AnClim was used. The results showed earlier onset of mean laying day for great tit and blue tit (by 1.1. – 5 days within the decade). Also the trend analysis showed agreement within the phenological series when comparing trends among each other or among different sites.
Fenologie lesních dřevin v měnících se podmínkách prostředí s ohledem na výškový gradient
Vránová, Kristýna
This thesis if focused to assessment of phenological characteristics of European beech (Fagus sylvatica L.) and European larch (Larix decidua Mill.). The observation was performed in two mixed forests of the same age situated at different altitudes 300 and 600 meters, respectively. Main meteorological variables were measured on both sites in order to describe the mezoclimate of the site. Observation of phenological phases was conducted in regular intervals twice a week. The results of the study confirm the strong dependence on both air and soil temperature. Collected data show the importance of temperature at the end of winter and early spring. Starting time of spring phenological phases depends on reaching of species specific temperature limits. The highest variability among individual years shows the time of beginning of budbreak. The temperature increase results in earlier beginning of spring phenological phases as well as shortening of their duration. For similar reason, also autumnal phenological phases are shifted towards the winter time. This fact causes longer vegetation period at the expense of winter dormancy.
Hodnocení růstových a sklizňových údajů vybraných odrůd a genotypů dřínu obecného
Nováková, Jana
This bachelor thesis is focused on ascertaining of the growth and harvesting properties and subsequently on evaluation of phenological phases of a few varieties of Cornelian cherry (Cornus mas L.) in the growing season 2016. The thesis includes the general part dealing with the history, origin and distribution of the species, the method of propagation and cultivation. It also discusses the importance of the nutritional value of the fruit and its chemical content. The thesis also contains an information about the possibility of using Cornelian cherry in ornamental ladscaping and food processing industry. The experimental part of the work was secured on an experimental plot in Žabčice. I evaluated fice varieties of Cornelian cherry (Fruchtal, Vydubecký, Vyšegorodský, Lukjanovský and Elegantní). Phenological phases of different Cornelian cherry varieties were observed. Furthemore, there was carried out the measurement of growth parameters (cubic bushes, fruit size) and evaluation of harvesting parameters (yield of plants, weight of individual fruits). I assessed pomological characteristics, determined the content of vitamin C and evaluated the taste of the fruit of the individual varieties. Overall results of the measurements were processed and evaluated statistically. The obtained values were arranged in tables, diagrams and described in detail. According to the determined values we can pass on an information about the best variety for cultivation and subsequent processing. Cornelian cherry among rarely widespread fruit species in the Czech Republic. Because of his modesty during cultivation, resistace to pesticides and diseases and high nutritional values it could be further exploited again. New and interesting varieties of fruit are being growned. Also, a more appropriate method of growing on the trunk is used. This advance in growing could be beneficial for extending of this kind of fruit.
Mikroklimatická variabilita a její vliv na fenologii vybraných druhů
Dížková, Petra
Thesis on microclimatic variability and its impact on the phenology of selected species examines the influence of climatic variables on term phenological phases of agricultural crops. Thesis also study the trend and timing of the onset of phenological phases of agricultural crops during 1961-2011 and 1976-2011. Finally this work study onset of phenological phases in unmanaged ecosystems. All observations were done at three experimental sites within the region of South Moravia. Phenological data were compared in given time series for its trends and correlations. The results showed earlier onset of phenological phase heading of winter wheat. The dates of heading are also in-fluenced by climate conditions especially average and maximum air temperature in the months April and May so the preceding months of studied phenophases.
Puccinelia distans and Digitaria sanguinalis as a phenomenon of road verges
LAXOVÁ, Lenka
The main subject of this bachelor thesis is establishment the main phenological phases of two grass species Puccinelia distans and Digitaria sanguinalis, which occur in vegetation bands along the roads. It also deals with change of their dominance during one with higher soil salinity along roads near the town České Budějovice. The soil conductivity on road verges was measured, too. Collected information and field data from certain localities were proccesed into tables, diagrams and summary resuls. The tendency in phenological phases exchange confirmed propagation and existence of theese two species on joint area during thge spring and summer seasons. It shows an adaptation of both plants into salt contaminated soil. Soil conductivity shows fluctuating trend in soil salinity during the year on road verges
